I just read Erasing History by Jason Stanley, which explains how controlling teachers and access to information -and erasing history- is a central project of fascists. I highly recommend it to others seeking to understand what is happening.

Black history - what history? Just because you want it to go away, doesn’t really work that way. My most proud moment as a dad was when my daughter would come home and tell me all the facts about Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks. The joy that she had when she was telling we was so inspiring.

The GOP is allowed to force teachers to lie about US history. They’re allowed to strip us of Medicaid, Medicare, & Social Security, regardless of the impact. On the state level, they’re allowed to force women to continue dangerous pregnancies that can kill them. I hate them more than they hate me! 🤷🏻‍♀️
