The western world (which does not automatically imply the US) agrees that it's not ok to kill people because they don't believe in the same prophet.
Not anymore.

They also believe woman are equal and people can love whomever they want.

Tell the rest of the class what Hizbollah fight for.

If you don’t think a significant part of radical Islamic thought revolves around the subjugation of women, then I don’t know what to tell you. But it’s a laughable claim, as is the word slavery when applied to people who have committed crimes.

I have not said a single word about my thoughts on what radical islam is about. And slavery is applicable even if a person has committed a crime. There's plenty of criticism directed at the USA for breaking international law regarding this matter. But, who cares, right?

Radical Islam, with its oppression of women and gay people, its refusal to entertain dissent, its mission to continue jihad to establish a worldwide caliphate qualifies as savagery in any sense of the word. If you think that’s up for debate, well, that just disqualifies you as a serious person.

Funny how it never occurs to people that multiple things can be true at the same time. Like, I can say Hezbollah are resistance fighters without liking their ideology and they can also be resistance fighters while fighting with Assad to protect their weapon routes and against ISIS, Al-qaeda etc

So, pointing out that USA and "the west" are evil (in the sense that most wars and armed killings are caused by them) is "morally depraved thinkin"? USA was also heavily involved in the Syrian civil war and how many did they kill in Iraq? Also, I don't care either way 🤷 I'm not a cheerleader

And to be fair, the kurdish forces are classified as terrorists and seen as an enemy of the turkish state. A NATO ally, right? But again, every resistance group has major enemies trying to label them and make people believe they are the worst 😉

Resistance is not based on whether or not you like the people or not. And both CIA and the Pentagon funded several different militias that even fought each other. I have a t-shirt with the YPG logo in my closet, so I know.
