So true! However, you should also anticipate that around 25% of players may need to stop, so plan accordingly—aim for more but be prepared for less.

Here's one that's served my friends & I well: plan for only 5-10 session campaigns. A nice limited, tight story that keeps everyone focused and saves you work because you might only need a handful of locations.

Once you're done you can plan the next one, swap characters, players, setting as needed.

yeah, this is really smart. I run a game every 2 weeks and while I'd love to have it EVERY week, that'd be SO much more planning that I'd need to do

This definitely speaks to me. As much as we may love playing and running these games, anything becomes a chore if we do it too much
