I don't even think it was a 'cynical trip'. MLS tried to nick the ball and mistimed it. Yellow card is all.

I think that's an over-generous take to be fair; it was one of those cynical, take-a-yellow fouls to halt a potentially dangerous counter-attack. The kind that we see literally every game. The kind which managers coach players to do. And the kind which is absolutely never, ever, a red.

Yup, you're right. I only saw it in real time yesterday. Watched MOTD this morning where it was slowed down and it's a deliberate trip. Yellow card only. Thanks for correcting me!
