the fact that Windows Media Player had already adopted Winamp-style skins by this point and iTunes hadn't was a very strong factor in me deciding to not buy a mac

iTunes was the only reason I accepted mp3 as a media form. Everything I tried before iTunes treated mp3s like a collection of files. iTunes treated them like albums

So good. But now it's probably the most bloated app in existence. It's not feature laden, necessarily, but it's so slow and laggy. Every time I start it up, it syncs my entire library with Genius for no reason.
