Amazing. The music was so atmospheric. It's the only game that ever gave me bad dreams ...as a 26 year old man.
I was horrified when I eventually moved to a PC and heard the plinky plonky music. So I downloaded the PlayStation tracks and played those in the background instead.
... shortly before the whole system crashed in a heap and you had to unplug something, or plug something in, or sacrifice a black cockerel to get it going again.
I still install Windows XP on a virtual machine from time to time just to play around with it, install things and do stuff with it, like play OldSchool RuneScape and stuff of the era. It’s just such a nice system to use, I wish there was a waterproof way to make it safe and practical to use in 2025.
Megaman was an intense game for me as a child. So difficult but I got through most of them. I would say it taught me how not to give up. Keep trying. Practice.

God, it was noisy owning a computer back in the day.
Then again there are those boomers who still have a clicking sound on their touchscreen keyboard.
Remember. Real good LOL
