Great way to remove the competition from Amazon and all the other huge conglomerates that are using the same labour practices. Better to curtail the power and influence of bezos ,musk etc

I have never bought anything from Temu or Shein. I suspect that some of the High Street stores also use slave labour.
Like America before us, we have become addicted to cheap tat. Perhaps buying 10 cheap t-shirts makes us feel rich?

I suspect cheap clothing has been a Godsend for families who need to clothe themselves and children on a budget, especially in recent times, but yes, there is a social and environmental trade off, where the poorest people are exploited & the planet suffers.

Temu told the BBC anyone doing business with it must "comply with all regulatory standards and compliance requirements".
