It’s ableist to think we need to use ai to do art, as a neurodivergent person sometimes I find it difficult to do art and be productive but I would rather go through the hardships of improvement rather than caving into the corpo slop machine.

Deviantart is barely different from most ai slop sites aside from the fact it still has artists on it, I scrubbed my presence the minute they pulled the data scraping without consent stunt. Fuck Deviantart.

I may not be creating any art at this moment in time (thanks to burn out from the day job, still) but I will return to it & I don’t want AI to be any part of it. I also want to support artists whether they be traditional or digital & blocking those that support/use AI is a way of supporting..

It feels like it’s being forced into everything everywhere as some kind of emperor’s new clothes & that’s not healthy for anyone. It has no benefit to anyone except those who profiteer from it.
