Blitzo mentioned in Full Moon that Stolas ever since Ozzie's had been letting him avoid their sexual encounters and was basically just giving the grimoire to him for free. I'd say that's basically ceasing the fetishy stuff on his end, at least.
Former monarch and former misanthrope (though still an assassin). I'm not saying either are particularly amazing, just that they're products of their shitty environments. That and a character changing for the better is not the same as the show saying they're flawless.
