I watched the rugby.
I also saw the result of the kick ball FA cup first round where the rank outsiders beat one of the favourite teams because the favourite team's coach rested the best players because he thought the win was a mere formality.

American "football" is dull and incomprehensible most of the time, more about adverts and razzmatazz. Blokes in silly costumes run at each other for 10 seconds then there's five minutes of standing around and excited analysis.
What a load of shite! 90% of that propaganda piece was what Trump/Elon is currently erasing from the USA. And I thought Brad Pitt was better than that. What a hypocritical wanker.
I interpreted it differently, I think. It seemed to me Pitt was reminding Americans (I’m not one) of common ground, and by implication everything they stand to lose if they allow an autocrat free rein.
Understood. Maybe they’ve just worked really hard to find diminishing common ground. ‘The Huddle’ obviously means something to American Football followers (just about all Americans as far as the Superbowl goes?) Fox? Yep, unexpected.
