Sorry, but from my perspective it’s the only practical way out of this. Half the country would rather eat dog food while “owning the lib’s” than do the right thing.
It is a way, though I believe those sentiments are not geographically distributed in any practical faction.
The new bosses need us to be fighting each other so as to not fight them.
It would have to go up for votes. Some states would be close. The west coast and north-east would easily combine. Nevada, Arizona? Pennsylvania? Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, could join Canada. 😁 I’m dreaming out loud, but King Trump deserves to lose the best of the Kingdom.
Well, I see Russia as behind all of this, but still I’m looking for a practical way out. Re-unifying the country seems impossible to me. I’m nearing retirement. I moved from FL where I lived for over 20 years to AZ. I want to live in peace again. I want to live around educated kind people.
The constitution was abysmally imperfect. It got improved, but its vulnerabilities didn’t patched. Sadly it’s been maximally exploited. Maybe you’re right to accept this path.
I see it as unrepairable because it hasn’t had any meaningful amendments since 1971. I’m not counting the last amendment because it was a minor anti-corruption measure. It’s become impossible to change even if our Presidents were willing to abide by it.
I’m open to hear how dissolution would serve the greater good of humanity and the planet, because it looks like the folks who would be in charge of the various fiefdoms are mostly criminal.

That sounds like the Russia Project playbook from a while back. I’ll look up the reference.
