I would deactivate too Meg; the only reason I keep the account is because of friends I've made from the Jack days [the original blue sky of twitter] whom I have DM contact with and regular threads that constitute, I guess, a lifeline for us in the damned place. .../2

Other than that, I have minimal activity now on X and Elon is deactivating my account essentially anyway by his throttling of its visibility

I am planning on doing so. I was super active on Twitter too. Even had follow backs from some of the big accounts like Brooklyn Dad. It I never go there anymore, had it deactivated but they keep it for a month in case it was a mistake.
