Of course the ad for this cover said cats hate to walk or sit on plastic. My cats clearly didn't read the advertisement. They sleep on it all the time.

Yeah, the cats before Loki and Yondu destroyed a different leather couch, so the plastic only comes off when I have guests. And I worked really hard to train them to just scratch on the pads & posts, but when they run across the leather they tear it up so... PLASTIC.

Love Meezers too. When I was a baby my aunt's Siamese cat was my baby sitter. Tasha lived to be 21 and I was always her kitten.

I have leather furniture covered in plastic and we did a lot of training to teach them to only scratch on pads or the posts. They know that earns them a Good Boy and a treat.

Mine mostly use the many scratching posts but a couple will use the furniture. From my perspective, my house and the courtyard I built for them is their entire world so I allow them to be as comfortable and happy in that world as I can. Furniture, I can repair :)
