Indeed, having done some growing up as a "Townie" in Oxford the clause "Universities like ours" really grates as these goals cannot/should not be defined by elites.
I wanted to shout yes and pump my fist! Something well thought through, well argued, humorous but also deadly serious… sadly lacking here in AoNZ at least in public utterances. Yes, it is wealthy and ultra elite but he articulated why and what and how. Where are our University leaders?
