I once broke down just as the M11 fed onto the North Circular. The number of numpties shouting that I couldn't stop there... well I couldn't move the fucking car, no one stopped to help, and my life was in my hands due to two lanes of traffic hurtling past me at speed either side. Horrible

it did stop me owning classic cars, not gonna lie. I will take reliability over beauty now. Unless I become stupidly rich... when I will own a garage full of gorgeous classics, which are all concours spec and religiously and meticulously maintained by a garage on a weekly basis.

I was once broken down on the A1 and an irate driver shouted ' push it out of the way ' - it was 7.5 ton truck, I dont know how strong he thought I was. I also noted that he wasn't offering to help push it.

Had a Fiat for nine years no issues...... bought a brand new Mercedes 17 miles from showroom dead had to be replaced. Never bought a Mercedes again... don't believe the hype!

I feel your pain, happened to me on an M25 junction years ago. Two ladies in full on twin set and pearls mode wound a window down and shouted to a couple of van drivers through the beeping “she didn’t chose to breakdown there get out and give her a f*****g push to the side”.
