I don't know. Maybe it's because I come from Australia where voting is compulsory, but I can't understand this. Not voting is just voting for the status quo. It’s people using what little power they had. Parties and candidates are not entitled to votes, they have to earn them. Maybe the Dems should have tried to earn votes, namely by not supporting and facilitating genocide.

I want to be clear, I'm not in favour of the dems supporting genocide. But I wholeheartedly disagree with not voting. Everyone who can vote has a civic duty to vote. To use what little power you have to make the best possible country you can. Even if it's just to limit damage.

Not voting was the natural response to the concerted shame campaign that Democrats engaged in, where they told voters that they only had one choice and if you voted third party you were voting for Trump. So they recused to use their vote for that.

I think people did use what little power by telling the dems, that unless they changed course they were not going to get votes. The dems decided that supporting Israel’s genocide of Palestinians was more important, than getting those votes.

The choice was no genocide, a choice the Dems could have very easily enacted, but chose not to, and it cost them the election. The way you see it, is that the lives of Palestinians were expendable.

Biden's accuser's story didn't stand up to scrutiny. She even backed out of a Fox News interview with Chris Wallace. In fact, I think she had more supporters on the far-left than on the right. Also, she was a Putin sympathizer who has since defected to Russia, for what that's worth.
