The thing about Mika and Joe is that they’re in the business of journalism not nation-state diplomacy. And they seem confused about that (despite the penthouse, country mansion, and fine dining that their news salaries afford them).

I’ve long argued we need some news media with independent endowments to find them so they can focus on journalism.
We all know what happened. When Trump won, they lost their mission. So they changed their mission. They decided to roll it back to 2015, if Trump will let them.
But the MSM has to be attractive, as everything is in this material world.
Joe and Mika failed horribly in the 'optics' in this insane 'image' world that Trump dominates.
They panicked, because they thought he'd destroy them.
It seems like they've done it too themselves.
It’s not complicated.
If so, it's the tariff quid pro quo (dare I say bribe) at a personal scale.
And I haven't watched MSNBC since the Morning Joe pilgrimage.
