I do a workaround to help my RAM along: if I'm happy with my vocal takes, which I do on Audacity, then I pan them Centre - 20R - 20L - 40R - 40L or something similar, then bounce them as one single WAV. There were only three WAVs used for this track, a total of 15 voice tracks condensed into 3.
