It's so frustrating to me because vegans & Native folk should be natural allies, because many Native folk & vegans actually share the same goal, the end of the industrial meat economy. But vegans get really weird about natural harvest as though it's the same thing as slaughter houses.

Why is it that vegans, by and large, can never have respectful discourse about Indigenous life and foodways?
They tend to enter into conversations they weren't even a part of to infantilize, silence, and attack.

Most of my friend group are vegans.
It really seems to be an online thing.
But it really is industrial animal agriculture I specifically object too.
It's awful.
