This is a song that I've known about YEARS before I even played Risk of Rain 2. I remember hearing the song while watching a streamer play the game and thinking "GODDAMN this goes hard.". The Double Fucking Rainbow motif was the main part that stuck with me, it was so unique and impressive.

When I got to the final boss, hearing this song blaring in the background while fighting the boss itself was one of the most stressful experiences I've ever had in a video game. Strangely, it also felt like the song was motivating me, almost like it's telling me that the end is in sight.

Real, for me this one has also always struck me as an OST both for the final boss and for you, the player. I'm not sure what it is about the song, but just feels like despite the power gap between us, "we settle it here and now as equals"

This is honestly one of the best final boss themes ever made, and it isn't even my favorite song from the game. That one goes to another song that I'll maybe post about in the upcoming days...😉
