A friend who WAS aQC inspector at Boeings Dreamliner plant told me years ago about metal shavings in the electrical cable routes. Boeing did NOTHING but ship him to a different area. Then the pressure cone alignment issues surfaced. He quit/retired before he could be suicided by Boeing.

Boeing used to be a great company, because it was run by engineers whose only focus was safety and quality. When it merged with McDonnell Douglas and the stock price became the main focus over time it’s become what it now is: a public safety menace.
