I didn’t like that he went from “we don’t trade lives” in Infinity War to “we don’t have to do this” w/ the time travel plan & justifying Nat’s death (“she had no family”), & I felt it would’ve been more in his character to try to prevent the snap from happening after Tony died before seeing Peggy

I don’t think Cap was saying Nat didn’t have a family. I don’t think anyone except for Barton knew about her family and the original 7 Avengers considered themselves a family. I do understand trying to stop the snap but I think he was afraid he was going to make a mess with the timeline

See, a timeline where apocalyptic genocide was allowed to happen across the universe is imo a timeline that’s too morally bankrupt to be worth persevering.

X-Men Days of Future Past did a far better superhero time travel story because there wasn’t any doubt that they truly fixed things.
