I didn’t even know butter on a sandwich was a thing until moving to Ireland. Now I know why. American milk is subpar by comparison as well.

I’m permanently confused what’s the least worst option to put in my coffee - it’s always a choice between semi-skimmed, 2% or cream (which clearly isn’t cream) and all I want is just milk!

French butter from Brittany contains large crunchy flakes of salt. On a warm croissant it is sublime, dare I say even better 😳than Kerrygold.
