Not sure how "official" these numbers are, but it sure looks like vets showed up and showed out today. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to hang out in DC or your state capitol and show support for veterans. β€οΈπΊπΈ

I wish this had been picked up by more outlets (like @meidastouch.com, I didn't see anything on thereπ€·π½ββοΈ) to spread the word. I'm in PA close to H-burg & my dad didn't know until I told him & he worked at The Vet Center there. Hopefully he was able to pass the word to his old colleagues & clients.
Irony, vets who bravely stood up voluntarily to protect and defend their country are being treated like crap by man who was too chicken to do so when called...
I was in DC. I do not understand the decision to put up Veterans For Peace up there for a 20 minute long rambling speech that pretty much used material from 1970 with updated language about guns and Gaza. I don't think Trump was mentioned once. Dozens wandered off. All the other speakers were great.
I see vets every day in my office... If they aren't wearing their military cap. They have a maga hat on. We had one telling use Doge needed to come to our office and cut out our taxes for schools cuz he didn't want to pay taxes for schools. ( shocker)
They wanted Felon to hurt others...not them.
Can we see some photos? Let's show the world that our Veterans are showing up! No legacy media covered these events in my area. I want to see and share.
Vetsβ we appreciate you and thank you for all youβve given to this country. Itβs appalling what this admin is planning to do the vets- from firing them illegally to cutting benefits and services. Weβre going to fight with you to see these wrongs corrected.
The US issues a travel ban on Afghan citizens. I was an ally of the US. I served with the US special forces for many years, but now I am being forgotten and handed over to the Taliban to kill Taman. I am really disappointed with this news.
So glad they showed up. Was worried they might not. Thank you to all the veterans who stood up today! Thank you for your sacrifices to our country and Democracy. π
TBH it is to the point with all their crimes to compel our honorable military professionals to act, make many arrests, and reverse this coup. We cannot tolerate 4 years of outright Nazi attacks on ... everything. Have we the right, we have the duty. It should be the pros to avert a civil war.
Yeah, all of us need to protest! VETS, WOMEN, SENIORS, LGBTQ, STUDENTS, anyone that feels there rights and way of life is being taken away. Find an Indivisible group in your area. Big Rally in DC on April 5th. There will also be rallies in all areas in the U.S. Come an protest, numbers count.
37% of eligible Americans didn't vote. No one won.
But your inaction elected Trump.
Only 31.6% voted for Trump.
30.7% for Kamala.
0.9% difference
- not a mandate -
220,200,201 more people voted for Trump than Kamala.
How many people regret their vote?
REMEMBER
if the cops confront you go limp

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET
They value property more than your life
Keep in mind that it was extremely windy in a large portion of the Midwest yesterday and we experienced tornadoes so those numbers would probably be higher if it wasn't so dangerous weather wise.
Hopefully we can get some #Veterans in #Asheville to show up and let Secretary Collinβs know what we think about the Cuts to the VA. 18 March Tunnel road VA Hospital in Asheville NC.
Iβm a disabled veteran four hours away from my state capital ,so I went to my town center with a couple signs my old desert fatigues and I protested by myself from 12 oβclock to 1 oβclock for a fascist free Friday and I think Iβll do it every Friday cops swirling all around, peaceful protest

Good turnout in DC, but we need a group that represents us exclusively: Veteran issues and Veteran interests. Regardless of their political views. A group that focuses on whatβs happening to the benefits we earned and fact-based impact.

I'd go as far as saying someone's deliberately censoring them.
