2/7. One way that we’ve been studying this is by monitoring news coverage of these issues. After the murder of George Floyd, the conversation was largely about structural racism. That lasted from mid 2020 to early 2021.

3/7. From there it shifted from Structural racism to Critical Race Theory; not the actual critical race theory, but CRT as redefined: “the entire range of cultural constructions that are unpopular with Americans.”
