Until they break it which they always do as Israel will never negotiate or give the land to its rightful owners. I'm 65 and this has been ongoing virtually my entire life. I'm tired.
To be honest, Trump has the upper hand because he doesn’t care about Gaza. He said there will be hell to pay if the hostages aren’t released by the time he takes office. If Biden said the same, the left would chastise him.
Yep. 100% right. Trump could order the bombing of Gaza by US troops and he would gain support. Biden could withhold support of Israel and he would lose support. He could increase support for Israel and he would lose support. Israel and Gaza are the Kobayashi Maru for Democrats.
A lot of people don’t realize this is almost the same deal negotiated in May, where the peace deal is implemented in phases. Phase 1 is the release of hostages, while phases 2 and 3 will involve Bibi resuming bombing after Trump’s inauguration.
There was never going to be a deal until after the election. This war was allowed to happen by Bibi. It was expanded by Bibi. Bibi sabotaged peace deals. Now, Bibi gets a much more compliant American ally. Whatever he does from here on will not be for the benefit of anyone but Bibi.
It's probably just time buying bullshit for the war criminal, Netanyahu. He'll get back to killing people when he feels like it & we'll finance his terror for him
The deal is structured so that phases 2 and 3 will only be implemented after phase 1. You can expect that once the hostages are released in phase 1, Bibi will resume bombing Gaza.
thats what im saying!!!! the reagan campaign reportedly had connections with iranian officials to delay the release of the hostages until his inauguration. this reeks of trump trying to do something similar.
I know this is happening on Biden’s watch, but it feels like this is going to end up with the GOP getting credit. I’m extremely happy there’s a cease fire, please don’t misunderstand. It’s just been a pretty shitty week of getting information we should have had 3 months ago.

Reminds me of the hostages being released from Iran in the final days of President Carter's term. That has been cited as a reason for Carter losing the 1980 election to Reagan.

On Facebook, his supporters are literally giving him credit in comments off news articles on the ceasefire/hostage deal... and you know he will be claiming credit personally as well… And if the deal falls apart, naturally, it will be someone else's fault
