Democrats didn't lose because Joe stayed too long. They lost because nobody had his back. Every American should've been made aware of the jobs Biden created, the economy he built from the ashes Trump's failed term left behind. Every Dem should have had one united message of their accomplishments.
This is another reason I get so angry at news agencies, why are they not asking Trump these questions and telling him the facts? Call him out in real time and fact check him to his face. If anything all news agencies should boycott Trump and the Whitehouse and not let him spew lies.
OK, the last time some idiots thought this was a good idea, this happend:
The SmootβHawley Tariff Act (1930) caused substantial economic damage, with inflation-adjusted losses nearing $950 billion in GNP and $124 billion in trade reductions by today's standards.
Trump is the dumbest human being, if thatβs what you call him, Iβve ever heard of. His whole thought process is backwards and his motives are only how to make himself richer. He donβt give a crap about ANYONE, not even his MAGA supporters. When will these people wake up and see reality?!?!?!
This is intentional. collectively look at the actions of this administration -- they all either benefit Russia, harm the US, or both. Trump is a Russian asset.
And the manufacturing jobs Biden created are the ones that will weather any storm... anything new will take years to implement and could easily go away with the tariffs.
It has always amazed me how so many people have fallen for the idea that Republicans are better for the economy. Nearly every measurable indicator of economic performance shows over a very long period that Democratic policies result in a much better economy than Republican policies.
That's due to the Democrats' unwillingness to tout their own achievements. Biden thought it was in bad taste vs the other guys who take credit for things they voted against.
Its very hard to convince the private sector that Tariffs are going to fix things. The US dollar and wages are the issue. Trump should just start by giving grants to US manufacturers. Start ups to provide US goods. The rest of the world may not buy them as they will be expensive, but Americans may.

It is a deeply strange circular news nightmare we are all stuck in

They have evaluated and measured, and gift wrapped a box of horrors for America, but only if America is on the naughty list.
After which Trump's second term will be an exemplary lesson taught in boring economics classes.
Biden saw the need. He and his team created manufacturing jobs.
800,000 manufacturing jobs.

Something tells me, history's about to repeat itself.
I really have to ask at this point: are you folks SURE you've gotten rid of all those lead water pipes?
Biden used tax breaks and incentives with great success and grew the economy as a result.
Trump is going to destroy the economy with unknown results
As General Douglas MacArthur once said, βThe history of failure in war can almost be summed up in two words: 'Too late.β
