While I don’t doubt Trump tariffs are going to have a wide ranging negative impact, I’m incredibly sceptical about a salesman’s opinion on things. It’s basically a high-pressure sales technique. It’s not just ‘legit business’ either, Ponzi schemes use the same approach.

Car leases, new purchases and used car prices are all gonna go up significantly. Thankfully I think I can ride with my existing car for another 5 years or so. But I wouldn't want to be in the market for a car in the upcoming months.

Of course. As well as the ripple effect… used car prices will go up due to increased demand from those unable to afford new, & vehicle service will cost more due to tariffs on parts. Property taxes will increase as car values are higher, and insurance premiums too. Great job MAGA.
