Last week I went to an NBA game both celebrating Mental Health Night and sponsored by Caesar Sportsbook, purveyor of the addiction with the highest suicide rate

They don't give a fuck about mental health. It's all performative to appear as tho they all aren't greedy fiends that want our money and fuck the consequences
I know a guy that spends at least half his paycheck gambling
He won $600 the first week and never won anything after that. It's like they lured him in and now he can't stop. He had to move back in with his dad, can't pay child support. Its just as bad as being hooked on drugs!
Why are they allowed to advertise so?
I mean, they’re all over everywhere. Not just the ads on sports and sports news and elsewhere, but sports news content itself is saturated with gambling content. Reporters, anchors acting as odds makers, betting amongst themselves. For us to watch. Crazy.
it's great that at least it's being talked about. there have been some amazing mental health awareness videos in the Premier league like this https://youtu.be/tX8TgVR33KM
