미국의 아몬드 산업을 유지하기 위해 매년 수억 마리의 꿀벌이 죽임을 당한다고 하네요. 농약을 쳐서 꿀벌이 죽을 것임을 알면서도 높은 나무의 꽃을 수분시키려면 유일한 방법은 꿀벌뿐이라 투입된다고… 아몬드 농장들이 물을 굉장히 잡아먹어서 근처 수자원에 문제를 일으키는 건 알았지만 미국산 아몬드는 비건이라고 부를 수도 없지 않나…
