I dunno, $80 US for games I think is where I draw the line, and have they told us how much these "upgrade packs" for games we already have are gonna be?

Take Kirby or Mario Party for example the Switch 2 edition is $80 US. If you look at the text of the physical copy it includes the Switch 1 cart for the game and a upgrade pack.
......So if I'm getting what you're saying it's $80 because it's the switch game with the upgrade pack and that makes the pack $20? So why are the switch 2 exclusive games also $80?

I won't be surprised if PS5 and Xbox Series games will also creep up in price.
It's a new normal and I hate it.
