I think part of why people are insisting the shooter is a pro or military is because we aren't used to seeing Americans treat guns as a tool instead of a toy

Whenever you see footage of someone blasting people it tends to be unemotional. His lack of reaction is just how it goes. Can't really stake out the claim that he is a professional, or military, or anything else. He's just a guy with a strange gun that shot somebody and left
I've seen Gun Guys claim he could ONLY be a pro. I've seen other Gun Guys claim his poor stance is a tell he's just some dude. When I see Gun Guys at the range near me they look like kids with toys. I dunno, keep throwing out all these contradictory profiles, I just know I hope he never gets caught
My strongest impression of him is he came to do what he came to do and that's all he was set for. And that could be military discipline or it could be a hitman's practice or it could be somebody who never planned to shoot a person before and never will again.
IDK, using a pistol with a suppressor and what seems like a slide lock (seeing as he manually cycles it between shots), with what I imagine was subsonic ammo, certainly seemed to get the job done.
