This morning I deleted by personal Threads account.
I'll keep my professional IG and Threads accounts to keep spreading the gospel of civic engagement, but I cannot justify staying on META platforms for personal use- for such little value.

Leaving an environment is so challenging though, especially if others you care about aren't ready to migrate. I applaud your courage.
