Like what when? I rummaged through my mental locker of ill-remembered history, lies & myth and found no record of any ferocious opposition by Congress to past, near fatal assaults on our Democracy. They vacillated in 1860s till the Fort Sumpter attack pushed them into tepid action at Bull Run.

If the Democrats don't become a real opposition party soon, fascism will become entrenched and it will be too late. But Democrats continue to act like reasoning with these sociopathic assholes is going to work.
