Was that a terrible plan to stop a historic RB? I thought their D was pretty good considering they were on the field all the time and their own offense not giving them any breaks. The Chiefs didn’t lose that game because of their defense.
Exactly. All 30 other teams wld've game planned that way. 🛑/contain the run make Hurts beat you w his arm. Well he did. &given the inability of the Chiefs O line to 🛑 the 🦅front 4, the D on its heels often & on field too much. Chiefs fan here, I conceded the loss in the 2Q, obvious af it was an L.
Well this is the first time I've ever heard someone trying to cope with a devastating comment, by calling my argument a popular one. Well done! Is it helping with the tears?
Exactly. It was obvious by the 2Q the Eagles had the game in hand. Only the filthy casuals were surprised by anything beyond that point. I started doing chores around my house and had the game on in the background. Checked in on Halftime and when passing through the room.
I enjoyed watching them dominate the Chiefs. It was a foregone conclusion that Chiefs were gonna 3peat.
And Tom Brady couldn’t fellate Mahomes any harder 🤣
As a Chiefs fan it was not @ all a foregone conclusion. Sure if all the sports media u consume is Nick Wright.🤷 Of the 3 if us in my Chiefs text group not 1 of us thought that at any point. Nice to have? Yes. Guaranteed? F no. Old enuf to know: Any Given Sunday, despite the rEfS cOnsPirAcY 🤡s.
Seemed like it gave them their best chance to compete to me. wasn’t the defenses fault the offense couldn’t do anything. Wasn’t defense who gave up a pick six and another int deep in own territory. The offense couldn’t even sustain a few first downs to give defense a chance to recover until too late
Refs can only tip the scales if the game is close. It’s no wonder the two losses the chiefs starters suffered this season were both two score+ deficits at the end by the Bills and then subsequently the eagles.
