I can go on at length about this, but essentially: there is a major difference between an authentic, nuanced portrayal of asexuality and the deliberate sanitization of allosexual characters.

The desexualisation of media (everyone is beautiful, and no one is horny) combined with an increasing hysteria around the 'pointlessness' of sex scenes is a key part of the fascistization of western culture and if we're going to fight back we're going to need to make it normal to be horny again.

I find those of us who are on the less horny end of the spectrum ironically can say some very sexual stuff. I think sometimes because we are more amused by the concept as a quasi outsider.
