Not all rescued wildlife can be returned to the wild. They may be left with problems where they couldn't survive in the wild. I know of one that rescued a young bobcat that had been raised in captivity...and has zero prey drive. Doesn't get hunting.

Most of the foxes at Save A Fox come from fur farms, as pet surrenders, or were seized from their owners as the result of illegal ownership.

Unfortunately they are not suitable for release into the wild.

I had no idea they were so friendly. We have grays & they are very wary. Probably not as prolific as your reds. They will watch us but keep their distance. And we will let them. Thank you for rescuing our animals. I believe there is room for all of us.

Usually they aren't...foxes used to being around ppl/domesticated are just like dogs...wild foxes however are a very different story...not aggressive per se but they behave like you'd expect a cautious wild animal would either way always respect the fact these aren't domesticated animals
