Sheldrick raises orphans and re-introduces them into the wild when they are ready. It’s a long process but they have had great success dating back to the 1970s…

I visited the nursery in Nairobi in 2018 and got to meet my foster Kuishi who has since graduated to one of the reintegration units in Tsavo.
