The difference is attonement and willing to admit you’re wrong and wanting to do better. RDJ did that. Majors (and so many others recently) have not. They can’t admit they did wrong, don’t want to do their time, and can’t seem to learn from it.
Absolutely this. Nothing can undo bad things, but you need to accept fault. So many people now will cause harm and all they worry about is how it immediately effects their career, never making any steps to atone.
Thank you. Because that’s really all. RDJ was blackballed from Hollywood for a long time before people felt comfortable (and could get insurance) to have him back. In that time he went to any outlet that would have him to apologize in additon to completing his probation and participating in therapy.
