Our brains have evolved for generations to look for tigers hidden in trees, and now we’re generating not-quite-tigers in not-quite-trees at such a rapid rate that our brains are in perpetual panic.

Beyond the myriad other ethical problems with AI, I consider that one a Very Big Deal.
