What's absolutely hilarious about it is that they're the same generation constantly complaining about Millenials and Gen Z being entitled, but in a recent study it was determined that Boomers are currently the most entitled living generation. They feel entitled to respect they didn't earn.

Exactly. They inherited so much from prior generations, then pissed it down the toilet, doused it in gas and lit it on fire so no one else could use it. They left the world a worse place and now demand respect. They were such neglectful parents they needed a commercial to remind them they had kids.

Yes! They want the respect the generations before them had without doing half of what they did. I hate that for them because they'll never obtain it as long as that's their attitude. You don't automatically start being respected just because you reach a certain age.

I recently had one who's in her mid-sixties tell me she's "a work in progress", like she's 1.) Bothered to work on herself at all. 2.) Got much longer to start putting in that work.

They love to justify their own bad behavior by offering cop-outs like "I'm old" or "I'm a work in progress".
