Oh, I sadly do. It's just ironic that some aide says that with a straight face (no pun intended) when a rapist is making the orders.

I feel terrible for trans folks. They have enough to deal with without being scapegoats. Violence against them will increase even more. I want to cry.

Agreed. Those who discriminate will feel emboldened, so we must speak up when we see injustice. The law may have been changed to be on the side of bigots, but our morals will not be affected by an executive order.

I mean...yeah, "be gay do crime" and all, but I think that's not so much an ideology as a style suggestion. Peter Thiel is gay and much of what he does is criminal, but he does it in such a viscerally unappealing way that I don't think he counts. He just doesn't _give_ "be gay do crime", you know?
