I tried Illinois everlasting but I couldn't them alive. So i am growing them from seed from wild ones in upstate NY. This year I will be able to save my own hybrids. Some males and sub par fruit are to be expected but that's okay bc we'll just keep growing more.
I have been told that mulberry fruit that have been pollinated have 30% more protein in them by having seeds instead of being seedless. Make male mulberries good for something in food value of the fruit.
