Here’s the leadership change we need: we need Leader Jeffries to be replaced by SPEAKER Jeffries, to check the Trump administration’s wanton destruction and end the madness. Any effort not targeted to that goal is a waste at best and a harm at worst.

Honest question: If Dems held the House right now, what specifically could they do to reign in the Trump administration? The administration seems to be ignoring congress even with Republicans in charge. I don't see why Dems holding it would be any different

I hope Trump retaliates against federal judges so Roberts & his Federalist society colleagues can see clearly how they've enabled the leopard to eat their own faces.

Democrats should be doing much more, I agree, but it's federal judges who have much more power to reign in the lawlessness.

They never address what I think is the most compelling reason to force a showdown/shutdown: a huge attention grabbing moment to shape public opinion and really crystallize to the average person what is going on. They were scared it wouldn’t play out to their advantage (complete loser mentality).
