Now, I am NOT opposed to pork lard (has a lot of mononunsaturated fats in it if the pig is well raised), and it's eaten commonly in Europe. But beef tallow is vile and traditional use of it was for CANDLES.

This is nuts. My kids were formula fed bc they had severe dairy sensitivities. We went through the US formula shortage (I was even on our local news pleading for help). There was no EU formula that fit our needs available during that time. You can't take options away from people that need them.
