I have an egg allergy. But I haven’t seen eggs at my Trader Joe’s for weeks. Yesterday I saw they had replaced the egg shelf with egg based products - no whole eggs.
Not sure I am understanding why there are no eggs. The grocery stores by me are loaded with eggs with a sign that says two carton maximum. This is Chicago area, just the epicenter of eggs?
That's really strange because I just watched a video of JD Vance during the campaign in Pennsylvania in a grocery store promising that eggs would be cheaper on day one. Hmmm I wonder what happened?
Eggs $9 a dozen at Big Y in Stafford. It is more affordable to buy eggs from a chicken or duck neighbor. Tho I do want to try an emu egg from another nearby CT Town
I haven't seen eggs at my local TJs in months, but I got some at Whole Foods last week. Cost more than they did several weeks ago, but not as much the prices I'd been hearing about.
Ask Donny boy if he could give you a dozen from his own fridge! Procurement after a cull takes at least 10 weeks to grow baby chicks into egg layers. Sad but only gonna get worse. We need eggs.
