No one is saying he shouldn’t get to pursue his path. But it becomes troubling when efforts are made to define who gets access to opportunities and who doesn’t.
Empathy, collaboration, and collective growth are pushed aside, making way for a culture that values only what aligns with one person’s vision of “worthy struggle”, cause the lens is always white.
