Is it weird i looked up histology and wondered if it's possible to one day create nanites/micro-technologies that can mimic macro living things/organs.
Tissue rejection though.
Not to mention the lifespan of such nanites...

LOL I’m not sure about Nanites but scientists were able to create artificial organs and recently they were able to make a lab made brain! Though not too familiar on that since I did not read the paper fully :o

A lab grown brain to act as the ai brain of a robot.
(Pretty sure there was a robocop movie with this very kind of villain 😂)
I always found brain-machine linking cool and horrifying at the same time. You'd be able to put your imagination into reality(or image editting sw at least)

But the IOs would imply that people could manipulate the inputs you get very literally.
Like someone hacking you UI in cyberpunk, or making you see meat like Saya no Uta
