Trump and JD came into this meeting with ill intent. They wanted to make Zelensky look bad, but they did not expect him to be so prepared. To anyone outside the MAGA cult they looked like A-holes

Worth noting that when the war started Zelensky’s English was very shaky and he’s clearly spent a ton of time improving it for exactly this purpose.
