It is evident from the replies and quotes (and my quotes will be off indefinitely) that “shadowban” is something attached to algos. This is an error of mine. Suppression does not equate to algorithmic filtering. One example below.

When I say “but no algo” I mean, sure. Mathematically, there is no algo.

Do you know how many times a week I get a message from someone saying their account has been deleted - for the second, fifth, eighth time? This is important, if you have missed this. Let it guide you to some clarity.

Example (3) of suppression that doesn’t fall into the category of “the algo” - Palestinians are getting labeled “spam.” And when you click the label and change your mod filtering settings, their posts on their profiles are still bricked. Yet you can un-brick actual spam content.
